Turkey is about to come to its well-deserved place in tourism sector. We set a goal of 50 million tourists and 50 billion dollars tourism income for 2023, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey. Thus, İzmir has a crucial role in achieving this goal. We have set this goal; therefore we are about to turn İzmir into a destination contributing to tourism with all of its districts and regions providing all types of touristic activities, with all of its fundamental dynamics, geography, cultural and historical assets, with its sea, sand and sun.”
